BIRTH DOULA CARE

Where do I even start with these amazing ladies! They were with me every step of the birthing process which, as a first-time mom, I was terrified and uncertain. I felt confident to birth as I wanted and supported at every turn. My birth was an amazing experience because of Labor of Love.

Imagine how confident, safe and reassured you will feel with a birth professional by your side during one of life's most challenging moments. Adding Labor of Love Birth & Postpartum to your team is an invest in the quality of your birth experience. We bring reassurance and peace of mind to your BIRTH - day. Our experienced birth doulas attune to your specific needs and offer genuine, compassionate and intimate support throughout your pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Our unwavering commitment is to YOU with no hidden agenda.

We work side by side with your care provider and birthing staff to ensure a supportive and collaborative environment. Labor of Love doulas are well respected by Orange County doctors and have professional relationships with all area hospitals.

  • We offer nonjudgemental and unbiased support no matter how or where you birth.

  • We support ALL birth; non-medicated, medicated, cesarean births and VBACs.

  • We support you where you feel safest laboring; hospital, birth center or home.

  • We specialize in supporting IVF families.

  • We specialize in supporting surrogate families.

  • As professional doulas we guarantee complete confidentiality.

Your well-being is our number one priority. Which means that all of Labor of Love clients have 2 doulas on their team. Double your doula means 2 birth professionals to help guide and support you. We share an on call schedule very much like a care provider to ensure quality care. Our partnership system guarantees you never have to worry about your doula being sick, unavailable because she is at another birth, or tired due to back to back births. This system is in place to put your mind at ease and less worry.

We offer:

  • 2 doulas on your team for guidance and support

  • On call when you hire us, not just at the 37 week mark

  • Constant support: your team is available via text & phone for any questions or concerns. Once we are hired we start a text thread with you to stay connected.

  • One prenatal visit: your doulas will come to your home (about 36/37 weeks) and get down to the nitty gritty for your BIRTH-day. We help put a plan in place so that everyone knows exactly what to do when labor begins.

  • Labor Attendance: the doula on call will support you right where you are. They will be in contact with you the entire time & then join you when you are ready for them at home or your birthing place. They stay with you throughout labor and leave about an hour after baby arrives so you can band.

  • Postpartum Care Kit: Essential hygienic items to recover quickly from delivery.

  • Postpartum Follow up visit; your doulas will come to you about a week after delivery to ensure that you are taking optional care of yourself.

*Want postpartum doula support too? We offer additional packages with postpartum hours included. Contact us for more information.
