Karen is our lead birth doula, bringing extensive experience and care to each client. Although Staci is retired from active doula work, she continues to provide invaluable administrative support to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
Founded in 2012, Labor of Love has had the privilege of supporting thousands of incredible families throughout Orange County throughout their pregnancy, birth and postpartum. As experts in the field, we understand that every birth is unique, and we are confident in our ability to support you through your individual experience.​

Karen started her doula journey in 2014 and been an integral part of Labor of Love since 2016, gaining extensive experience and a wealth of knowledge over the years. As one of the most seasoned doulas in Orange County, she is highly respected by nurses and care providers at all major hospitals in the area.

Karen’s doula support is unparalleled and unmatched. She consistently goes above and beyond for our clients and will offer the same level of dedication to you during your time of need. As a non-agenda-based doula, Karen trusts your decisions and desires, understanding that this is your body and your birth. Her role is to ensure you feel confident, supported, and safe throughout your experience.
Karen is an Orange County native and a mother of 3 grown children. Her background is in chiropractic care and specializes in the art of rebozo for pain relief during labor. In addition to being a DONA Certified Birth Doula, Karen is also a DONA Certified Postpartum Doula, a Hypnobirthing trained doula, and a Certified Lactation Educator (CLE).
