Karen is one of those women that lights up a room with her warm spirit and calm energy. She deeply understands the commitment and responsibility as a doula; the honor and privilege to stand by your side in your moment if need. Her loyalty to your goals and strength is her main focus. She is unwavering in her commitment to you and your experience.

Karen has been with LOL since 2016 and attended over 300 births. She is an Orange County native and a mother of 3 grown children. Her background is in chiropractic care and she specializes in the art of rebozo for pain relief during labor. In addition to being a DONA Certified Birth Doula, Karen is also a DONA Certified Postpartum Doula, a Hypnobirthing trained doula and a Certified Lactation Educator (CLE). She would be honored to be added you team!

Lauren F.

Lauren is a natural-born empathic care-giver and campaign of women. She has a deep passion to empower women to trust their instincts and tune into their body. She strongly believes there is no right or wrong way to birth, and that a great birth experience comes from being seen and heard. She believes that attending your birth is such an honor and cherishes her role as your doula.

Lauren has been with LOL since 2021 and attended over 100 births. Her passion for birth started 14 years ago with her own pregnancy. She quickly soaked up as much information as she could with her first doula training in 2009. She has recently retrained with Embodied Birth and specializes in intuitive birthing, trauma-informed care and birth photography. While living coast to coast, Lauren now resides in Orange County with her 3 beautiful children.
