Karen is our lead birth doula, bringing extensive experience and care to each client. Although Staci is retired from active doula work, she continues to provide invaluable administrative support to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
Founded in 2012, Labor of Love has had the privilege of supporting thousands of incredible families throughout Orange County throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As experts in the field, we understand that every birth is unique, and we are confident in our ability to support you through your individual experience.​

Karen brings a calm, grounding presence to every birth she attends, along with experience supporting over 500 families. Her warm spirit and steady energy help clients feel safe, confident, and deeply supported during one of life’s most meaningful transitions.

Since beginning her doula journey in 2014, Karen has become one of the most seasoned and respected doulas in Orange County. She has been an integral part of Labor of Love since 2016 and is highly regarded by nurses and care providers at hospitals throughout the area. Her collaborative, professional approach ensures clients feel empowered while receiving seamless support within their care team.

Karen believes birth is deeply personal. As a non-agenda-based doula, she honors your autonomy and trusts your instincts, helping you feel informed, confident, and supported every step of the way.

An Orange County native and mother of three grown children, Karen combines lived experience with professional expertise. She has a background in chiropractic care, specializes in rebozo techniques for labor comfort, and is a DONA Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, HypnoBirthing trained doula, and Certified Lactation Educator (CLE).
